I am planning on setting up a VHF to HF packet gateway in the San Diego,
CA area on a Linux box. Was looking for people who have done this
before, any pros/cons, etc. Current setup is Slackware, PK232/TS 430 for
the HF-10m and soundmodem for the VHF-2M side. What frequency is best
for 10m?? What additional software ( if needed, like TNOS ) for the
actual gateway operation?? Any tips on local coordination??
