Hi Mark All that advice! Linux can do it easily and do superfancy stuff in addition (all terminals can be clients) , but it takes a lot of finagling. I am not good enough to do it. Else: Get the SCS PactorII device with two packet ports and bingo, you not only have a gateway (whatfor?) but you can also simultaneously (- on the fly) remotely totally control your hf rig via pkt. Whatfor? Try living in a historical district like Beacon Hill in Boston! Absolutely cool. Fred/k1hb
