Just to keep things here interesting.. Can anybody
confirm that they are able to obtain decent results with
the 9612 RECEIVING 9600 packet?
By decent I mean doing 99 out of 100 256 byte packets. Even
better would be 576 bytes or larger packets.
If so, what's the secret?
Some guru folks here with the right test equipment are finding
the 9612 is only good for 80% or so - even when the input stream
is a near perfect eye pattern. It appears that the demodulator
stage/chip isn't holding lock all the time.
The transmitted signal looks excellent.
