Dear Linux Hams,
I own a Baycom modem and SuSE 6.0 Linux, at this moment running with kernel
2.0.36.
I red the AX25 howto but it does not describe the
situation for a 2.0.36 Kernel.
I recompiled kernel 2.0.36 with Baycom and AX25 support
as mentioned in the AX25 howto.
Which files do I need to download and install to get things working?
I downloaded net-tools-1.34.tar.gz is this correct?
As mentioned in this group I downloaded:
ax25util-2_1_42a-0_i386.rpm from ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/ham/ax25util-2.1.42a-0.i386.rpm
It says:
Sources were compliled with kernel 2.2.1 and linked
against glibc2, running on SuSE Linux 6.0
Can this rpm be used for the 2.0.36 kernel? Or do i need to get kernel
2.2.1?
