Soundblaster modem on Cyrix 486 cpu ?

Hello folks,

Has anybody successfully run the soundblaster modem stuff on a Cyrix 486
(DX4 etcetera)? When I start this (kernel 2.0.36 with accompaning netutil) I
get the message that the CPU has no support for the CPUID apparently
used/needed by the soundblaster modem drivers.
