Am getting a couple of 'beeps' as linux loads. SYSLOG reports:
error in symbol table input
cannot find map file
Otherwise linux appears to load OK.
Have you managed to delete the file /system.map ?
If So, recompile the kernel and Lilo - This will refresh /vmlinux and
/system.map
/\/igel.
