First - thanks for all who made new version of ax25-utils.
As they are alpha, so errors are expected, and follow:
- compiling hdlcutils section fails, even I installed
XFree86-devel package:
gcc -g -O2 -o smdiag smdiag.o hdrvcomm.o -lX11
ld: cannot open -lX11: No such file or directory
make: *** [smdiag] Error 1
I had to delete hdlcutil directory in Makefile,
so make omit it, resuls is clean compiling rest
of utils.
- after use command kissparms, and listen too, result
is as below. Maybe other commands and socket daemons
won't working.
[root@localhost /root]# kissparms -p vhf -l 30 -r 255 -s 20 -t 100
kissparms: socket: Socket type not supported
[root@localhost /root]#
These are all tests for now. My linux is RedHat 6.0 just
installed, gcc is PGCC 1.1.3 (I'm paranoid aboud speed,
and I compile with -mpentium -march=pentium, but this
is not reason of all things above). Kernel is 2.2.9
with all needed options compiled in (kiss for example).
