I thought getting COL 1.3.1 setup to run GNOME was a nasty task (which took me more than the NiNe HoUrS to complete) but that was nothing compared to the mess I've found ax25-utils-2.1.42a's compile to be. If there is anyone on this list that has succeeded in doing this please let me know what you had to do to tame this shrew! Up until now I've been able to work arround compile problems, but this puppy (mongrel) has me beat. I knew I should have left well enough alone. I decided to upgrade my amateur radio system to CSOL 2.2 because of glibc. I had no problems compiling ax25-utils on COL 1.3.1 and had everything up and running just nicely, ARGH! I realize that there is backward compatibility so as to enable the use of libc5 programs. I'm just wondering if this isn't messing things up with the new ax25-utils. totally_lost_in_space -- Ted Ozolins Edmonton, Alberta.
