Thats good to know. I had imagined a slight advantage to a monolithic
kernel.

Okay. I have done kernel-patches back in the old 1.2.x days -- is the
same
process used even with the new 2.0.3x kernels? 2.0.35 is the kernel
'out-of-the-box'
with Caldera OpenLinux by the way. I would guess the ax-25-utils.rpm
would be
on my CD's that came with Caldera -- or should I consider using ftp to
pick up
the rpm's from somewhere on the net?
