I haven't seen anything on this so here is my question:
I have the standard ax25 tools, version 2.1.42 or whatever that is, and I am trying to
set up a link to someone using TCP/IP carried over netrom, for the netrom man page:
IP traffic may be stacked on top of NET/ROM frames using a
non-standard extension to the NET/ROM protocol.
I am wondering how do I set it up. This is the latest message I got from this person
who is helping me do this by setting up their end of the link. At least the
interesting part.
Now, to configure your end, you'll need to have an ARP ("hardware address")
entry for #ALW (44.12.3.131) since it is the closest IP router to you.
In your IP routing, 44.12.3.131 will also be your gateway for any of the
IP addresses you want to route this direction. It will need to be set up
as a netrom virtual circuit.
More than anything I need info on how to set up the virtual netrom circuit. I can go
"call netrom #alwgw" and get there. The path from my machine to #ALW is :
(My Machine) -> NUKE -> #U235 -> #ALW

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Vance
