Wow!

There really is a 'list' police. Guess if you own it, you need to manage it.
Thats fine, but cut Karl some slack here. He has posted some good info. (on
or off topic) Too bad he challenged the 'list police'.

No, I'm not a trouble maker. Every sensible fiber in my body told me 'don't
do it', but I just could not resist. Seems to me that 'off topic' stuff could
take care of itself by getting the cold shoulder. I probably would not reply
to a message trying to find O'mally's cat a new home. Doubt that anyone else
would either. There is always the 'delete' key.

Before you delete this 'off topic' item, just let me say that I enjoy the
information I have obtained from this group. It is a real resource for me.
There is always good information of some kind. Lots of it is 'off topic' for
me, even if it is 'on topic' for you.

Seems to me that a little more openness to ideas might make for a group that
has growth potential. With all the 'duh's' I have seen regarding
implementation of the 'standard' ham stuff on the 'not so standard' new Linux
stuff, it might help to try and propogate ideas that try to marry the two.

Enough., you've taken enough of my time. Regards, keep up the good work, and
flame with taste.

Respectfully,
Frank Kamp
