Subject: AX25 an 2.2.9 (speak too fast)

Hello,
In a previous message, I say that all was OK ... It wasn't ...
I don't know the culprit but here is my story. I said that I
upgraded from RH5.1/2.0.36 to Mandrake 6.0/2.2.9 so it was
still ok. Then I installed the AX25 stuff and it was still
ok. However I noticed that when I shutdown there was always
fsck at boot time due to disk uncleanly unmounted ... it
should have warned me ... After a 24h uptime, the next reboot
was the start of the end. fsck has removed all the last 24h
modifications. So maybe the best I have to do is to start
with a clean and virgin HD, do partitions and install the
distribution instead of upgrading. For information, I work
with KDE 1.1 as it is a nice GUI (maybe the culprit ?). I
use CLX packetcluster node as well (or is it ?). All I know
is that things begin to degrade when AX25 and apps where
beginning to be operationnal. So be warned, when you
shutdown _CLEANLY_ your machine and then the reboot is not
_CLEAN_, be prepared for some extra works in a short
future ;-)
