IIRC (and that may be a big IF!) you get the 127 error message when you are
expecting to run the daemon version and omit the -d option when you invoke
xfbb.sh.

It's also worthwhile to remove the redirection of xfbbd > /dev/null so that
you can see the questions it asks you the first time through :-)
