It also works OK on a Slackware 4.0 / kernel 2.2.11 based system (with the
UTIL_LIB fiddle in the tools department).

Out of interest, I wonder if those who are having trouble with Netrom and
the 'axports' file have a copy of axports in their /usr/local/etc/ax25
directory ?
