Well, I cannot run another mixer at the same time because it's a contention
for resources with the SoundModem drivers. But I did manage to get the
packet system working in the meantime, so I'm a happy camper right now.
The only problem, these so-called BBSes in my area don't TRANSMIT anything
to me. They seem to work great as digipeaters, but alas, I can't elicit any
response from them. I log in, and connect, but I don't get any prompts or
informational text, saying things like "This is Palomar BBS" or whatever.
Which kind of defeats the purpose of me taking three days to try and get
this working... :(
