Well, Listen seems to hear *some* packets going through, so I think it's
just an audio levels problem. Right now, it seems to work best with the
radio's volume at maximum, but I still don't get 100% packet recognition.

I find it also pretty darn strange that the Debian package for ax25-utils
does NOT include smdiag. I was a little ticked off to find out about this.
However, I decided to look for the ax25 sources, and download them. Upon
running make config, it choked immediately (whoever wrote their config
utility has zero tolerance for alternative configurations, which is quite a
pity). It seems I have most every other binary, though...

Anyone have a binary and man pages for smdiag that I can download? I'm
using Debian Linux (Slink in particular; I'm planning on upgrading to Potato
in the upcoming months), kernel release 2.2.1 if it makes a difference.
Many thanks.
