You mean something like a DJ6HP filterconverter? Could be done, with a kernel driver, but I haven't done it. But you don't really want to do it, the soundcard approach is much more robust, according to my comparison results. Ok, you could build a better converter than the DJ6HP design (like KC7WW's AN93), but it's more difficult than the soundcard stuff. Tom
