The documentation refers to SuSE 6.1 ans prior in this point, we will fix
that. All you need are the packages which you did choose. No need to
recompile anything (not even the kernel). The bc0 devices which are
now bcsf0/bcsh0 are network-devices, not regular character/block devices
in /dev. Just do "ifconfig bcsf0" and you will see the device.
You can try dg2fer�s ax25-config tool which generates start/stop
scripts for various ax25-devices. It is for kernel 2.0, so you will
have to change insmod baycom to insmod baycom_ser_fdx and bc0 to bcsf0.
I am currently updating it to work with both kernel branches.
It is at ftp://ftp.1409.org/pub/ax25-config/. You need the "dialog"
package installed.
