Oh, sorry, I forgot to include this with my mail. Actually I did assign an ip
address, and it used to work fine with the Baycom ser12. "call" had no
problems there.

Yes, I tested it, but not really that thoroughly. My problem still is sethdlc,
as it wouldn't work from inside that ax25-up script, either. Also the
broadcast address for 192.x.x.x was set to 44.x.x.x. No big problem. If you
like me to, I can get back to you if I run across anything else while using
that script.
