Hi,
I'm very new to this list, as I have only just started to incorporate
AX.25 in my Linux box.
I am having a problem in getting started, working through the ax25 HOWTO.
I get to Section 6, Configuring an AX.25 port, and I find the kissparms
command does not work for me. I get:
#kissparms -p radio -t 100 -s 100 -r 25
axconfig: port radio not active
kissparms: no AX.25 ports configured
I have entered the default values into the files of /proc/sys/net/ax25/ax0/*,
I do have a reasonable /etc/ax25/axports file, and I have a Paccomm modem
in kiss mode sitting on /dev/ttyS0.
If anyone can offer insight, I would be most grateful.
