Could use some guidance here. I am trying to setup an axip tunnel from a
machine that runs the ax25-utils w/ax25ipd and another machine running
Tnos both machines on the same ethernet segment. The machine with
ax25-utils also hosts a Tnos application and the axip link between the
two Tnos box's works like a charm.
I have read some archives that discussed similar config's and maybe have
a similar problem? On the ax25ipd side I have a unique IP addr, tnc mode
and the master/slave ptypx/ttypx is working properly. The axip link is
pointed too the Tnos machine with a 'aa6qn-* 44.8.0.32'. On the Tnos
machine the axip attach line is: 'attach axip a6ike 256 44.8.4.11 9600
aa6qn2'. I can see the axip link from the Tnos box come in, using the
the Linux node 'L' command, and make a connection to the ax25-util box
but I never get a "Connected" on the Tnos machine on the other end of
the tunnel. I can see both IP addr's from each end. There is no RF
connectivity between these two suites only ethernet.
