Greetings all

Just to let you know that the Linux driver for the async connection of the
G4XYW modem is now available on the "Thames Valley IP User Group" web site (see
sig). It should be considered Beta as it has had only limited testing.

This completes the set of DOS BPQ, DOS packet driver, DOS ethernet simulator
driver, SV2AGW packet engine and now Linux kernel module drivers for the async
mode of the G4XYW modem.

This modem was originally designed for the PA0HZP Opto-SCC card and for the
TAPR modem disconnect header on a TNC as a replacement for g3ruh designs now
that some of the 'ruh components are getting difficult to source. Extra code
space was found in the RISC processor, that does all the work, to implement a
simple async protocol to a standard PC serial port to allow even cheaper
access to 9600bps packet.
