Hi,
At the present time I'm using a Redhat 5.2 based system with Kernel 2.0.36
for my AX25 System. This machine has a HP COLORADO 250 tape backup device
installed.
A few weeks ago I tried to use this Tape device (and another Travan 3
device) with Redhat 6.0 / 6.1 Releases, but All I ever got was messages
like:
/dev/ftape no such device.
and lots of messages in the log files. (I don't currently have the device
fitted in my Redhat 6.1 system and can't remember exactly what the
messages were).
Anyone managed to get a FTAPE device working under Redhat 6.0/6.1 that may
be able to shed some light on what I'm doing wrong ?
