I am a student of Computer Science at the Indian Institute of Technology,
Kanpur,India and I am doing a project that involves modifying Linux kernel
code.
I have a small problem figuring out things in the 'net' directory. When
you call a the read operation for a socket through the 'file' structure,
which function does it actually bind to and what path is subsequently
followed ? I want to trace the complete process, pass something with the
buffer in the read operation and tap it later at the end.
I would be grateful to you if you could help me in this regard.
