Arrg, i'm am idiot sometimes, please disregard what i said abot the bufsize.
I now realise what i was doing wrong.
Arno, you need to define bufsize to a higher value than 1500, But in
/etc/z8530drv and NOT in scc.c.
The default setting in scc.c is 384 so thats 128 bytes more than a 256 byte
mtu, adjust /etc/z8530drv accordingly for the correct interface.
I managed to get pings returnd upto 900 bytes from pi1goe the local node,
the buffsize is 1024 bytes, i did not want to completly unload the scc
driver module via remote to increase the bufsize, i connect via remote on a
scc interface, so i have to write small scripts to do the work, i did not
want to take that risk.
But it does work.
Now i must admit i now have a red face..........
