That was a while ago! Or you didn't read the README and didn't do a
configure. I think that was what that problem was.

Nope, nothing is broken. People just dont read INSTALL files.
Remember it is the library that decides where the config files are not
the binary.
strings /usr/(local/)lib/libax25.so | grep etc
