(AF_INET, SOCK_PACKET) was the old way of getting a packet capture socket
that worked with 2.0.x kernels. (AF_PACKET, SOCK_PACKET) only works on
2.1.x and newer.
Jose are you possibly running a 2.0.x kernel in the RH5.2 box?
