Marco, if you choose Update, Redhat will generally do the 'right' thing,
and it will build a file in /tmp describing which files you have modified,
that it also needed to modify.  If it had to remove your mods, the original
file will still be there with a different suffix, so that you can reapply
your mods if needed.  As far as Jnos goes, it really should be recompiled
as it relies on some kernel structures that will have changed.

It will likely be a 'learning experience' but probably less steep a curve
than the first time!  But, if you haven't the time to devote to it, stay
where you are, on the older RedHat release, so you can enjoy the Springtime
weather outdoors!
