Hello, sorry for my very elementary question,I would need a different list
(novices-linux-ham...) to post such request, but unluckily I have not
alternative.
The problem:
I have a i586 mmx p.c. with 2 different hdd, one (hda) is win'95,the other
(hdb) is linux
R.H. 6.0 with JNOS 1.11e fully working.
On a recent magazine I found the new Red Hat 6.2 cd-rom that I really wonder
to install on my "hdb",but I wouldn't loose my jnos and the relative scripts
that
I have been able to configure after several attempts and the big support
received
from many linux users,so I wonder be driven to a safe procedure to just
"upgrading"
without make a new software installation.
Is this really and safely possible?
Or is it a "risky-business"? <considering my modest linux experience>
