That was the first option I thought of Geoff, but
Ram costs a lot more for that old mother board and
it can't be used again when I Upgrade, which I plan on
doing when I've got the money. What I was planning on
doing was when I could afford it was upgrading the
mother board, CPU and ram on that computer.
Step one will be another 64 meg of ram that can be
put to good use on the good computer for now while I'm
saving up for the other bits. Then when/if I get the other
bits, I can upgrade the p100 and run it 100% linux and
this one can do whatever I want it to do.
For now I want to see how well the newer linux software
runs on a fast machine and the old computer ran winfbb
and jnos for a couple of years without any major problems.
The only things left to put on the old computer are the FBB
files and an archive of my email messages and the extra
BBS hardware.
