I expect 6.2 to arrive here in about an hour. I will probably put both on.
And play around with a few other distros I have as well.
Everything I do on this (the good) computer will be short term and I'll be
installing, bending and breaking every bit of linux software I'm interested
in until I know it inside out (or give up).
FBB is running along nicely on the other computer and I'm going to attack
the partitions on this one to make room for linux. I'm about to find out how
good fips is. I'll see you all in about six months if it doesn't work.
The original comment about windows crashing was meant as an
amusement for the linux people. Once installed I don't get crashes
on that computer under windows.
