Marco, this sounds like a routing problem. Your windows machine needs a route
to know to send the Jnos 44-net pkts to either the linux box as a gateway,
or to the local ethernet interface (where are proxy-arp feature should
cause the windows machine to use the mac addr of the linux box).
If this isn't sufficient to resolve your problem, this would be a good time
to learn how to use tcpdump under Linux, so you can watch all packets
from the windows box directed to the local ethernet, and see exactly
what is going on. If no packets emerge from the WIndows machine, they
were probably dropped due to lack of a suitable route.
