I compiled the kernel with egcs-1.1.2.
This night i tried 2.2.16 pre8 (Linux version 2.2.16pre8 (root@plsh) (gcc version
egcs-2.91.66 19990314 (egcs-1.
1.2 release)) #2 Mon Jun 5 23:02:00 CEST 2000) and i got
always the oops caused by a null skbuff but not yet a crash.
It's yet running but i think it will crash in some hours.
Joerg you're right the system is a pentium 166 overclocked to 200. The strange thing
is that we had no problem when
we runned 2.0.36 on the same hw.
I'm more and more confused... Any other try other (before) than changing the HW :-(
