Hello,
I have managed to get up and running RedHat 6.0 with a new kernel (ax25 +
netrom compiled in). I have LinKT & MonKT all working fine. I started
playing with LinPac & the ulistd daemon. These appear to be working ok,
that is I can, as root, connect out using LinPac and list/read messages
as one would expect with a terminal proggy.
I also notice that the ULISTD asks for and collects unproto headers from my
BBS, VK3DSE, and places them in.....
/var/ax25/ulistd/VK3DSE file.
The collected downloaded messages sit in the....
/var/ax25/mail/VK3DSE directory. currently there are around 20 messages
there. I can easily read these with a editor but I wonder if there is a
way to do this with LinPac of similar program???
Also, when trying to use LinPac as a NON - root user, ie, vk3jma, I get
the following.......
"Cannot create the lockfile /var/lock/LinPac.501 : permission denied"
Any ideas on this problem???
One more thing, I have been trying to get QLinPac working but on
attempting the compile I get a lot of lines like this ..........
qcomdialog.h:24: qtextcodec.h: No such file or directory
