SCC Card + Baycom 1k2 Modem ???

Hi,     I have just built an SCC card and want to check if it is working. The only packet modem that I have available is a Baycom 1200 baud. Can I connect the Baycom modem directly to the SCC card?   Thanks in advance, Cyril EI4AGB
