I was really not very clear when I asked my question. I'm sorry.
I had this working ok, but then I upgraded the kernel to 2.2.14, and changed
to the new AX25 apps, tools, and libs. When I did this, I of course, got
the errors from the changes in mkiss and kissattach. I made the changes to
get rid of the errors, but it still didn't work on the 9600 baud port.
It is working now. During this testing phase I have the system do a reboot
at 3 a.m. local time. When I logged in this morning it was working. I'm
not sure why it wasn't working, but after two days of trying I wanted to
find out if anyone else was having a similar problem.
