hi,
        i have an epson dot matrix 24 pin printer. i am using rh 5.2 where
using the control panel,  i am not able tp print the test page.
the error message is as follows : 
        lpr : connect : connection refused.
i have my printer configured at 0x378. The /proc file system says
/proc/parport/0/hardware :
base:   0x378
irq:    none
dma:    none
modes:  SPP
        The rest of the files in this directory contain nothing.
pls help, thanx in advance.

Try /dev/lp1 instead of /dev/lp0. It works for me...

I wonder if anyone has succeeded to get this ALS100 based sound card to
work
full duplex.
I tried with oss-lite and oss (demo).
With osse-demo, it was officialy full-duplex, the device ans its shadow
were visible
in /dev/sndstat.
But it didn't work.
So I would be glad if anyone would show me the trick !!!!!
