Good point ! Don't run after the latest unless you need it (like if you have a PPC).
I am also running one of my servers with 2.4.4 with VERY long uptimes (almost year now). It's got a very large UPS so power failures are less often ... However, I once upgraded it from 2.4.2 because I needed the loop device to work.
