You are quite correct.

Requirements, as far as I am concerned, are as follows:

        1. Can function as a PDA within the limits set by Linux (e.g. 
           outlook which is the best email reader ever! I can use mutt
           to read some mail, but outlook beats anything and everything).
        2. Can allow me to walk around, thinking to myself, while
           working.
        3. Allow me to watch dirty movies while on the train.
        4. Allow me to connect to a GPS unit while stopping by
           the roadside.
        5. Read email wherever I am (GSM modems on PCMCIA).
        6. Allow me to listen to MP3 without buying a special MP3
           player.
        7. Can give me a nice new thingy to tinker with.
        8. Can allow me to make a fashion statement.
        9. See whether I can drive it a new way - think up a new use
           for the bugger.
