I don't know what "mature" means in this context. They are terribly buggy and counterintuitive, in my experience. I would expect myself to insert a list of bullet points into a documet in less than 2 hours, but I don't think I have ever managed this. Certainly the interface fails the "principle of least astonishment" test. Still, from time to time I need to read Word docs. I have StarOffice on my linux computers for just that purpose. However, the success is mixed at best. Any (English, forget Hebrew until the IBM people do something about OpenOffice - status, anyone? I need to read some CVs...) Word doc that has tables, pictures, or something non-trivial will not be rendered properly by StarOffice, in my experience. Is it the 7th StarOffice thread here since the beginning of the year or only the 6th?
