On the same wave length, maybe we should instead open a web forum with this list name. this way, everyone will be able to see the encoding, and the list itself won't be changed. In addition, we can add to the mailing list signature (which is at the end of each email on these mailing list) the forum address. In these forum you can write Hebrew and whatever, and you will have a search engine to support you, and other conveniences.
