Partial answer: I have currently tried: mount -o codepage=862,iocharset=iso8859-8 /dev/fat_partition /mnt/point This works. the option 'utf-8' produced question marks. I haven't tried writing, though. I then was able to view file. One other note: konsole has some support for logical Hebrew. However this support is only at the display level (sort of like biditext xterm). Therefore selecting text with the cursor and all sorts of stuff confuses it greatly. Try comparing that to mlterm or to the bidi xterm. Working with this terminal in a directory with Hebrew file names is quite difficult (in such a case: fire up an xterm and do what you need) Using kde 3.0.1/debian -- Tzafrir Cohen mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.technion.ac.il/~tzafrir ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
