Can someone tell me what to do for writing Hebrew in Gnome/GTK proggi ?
I am on RedHat 7.3
I tried anything i know, and its not work to me.

I have in /etc/sysconfig/i18n those line:
LC_CTYPE=he
LC_MESSAGES=he
LANG="he_IL"

i tried some other combination, like the one from MDK 8.2 that'a look like:

SYSFONT=iso08.f16
LC_CTYPE=he
LC_MONETARY=he
LC_TIME=he
LC_NUMERIC=he
LC_COLLATE=he
LC_MESSAGES=he
LANG="he_IL"
UNIMAP=iso08
SYSFONTACM=trivial.trans

when i write some Hebrew text in GTK progrem or in Gnome2 progrem's (Beta ...)
the text is not show up (the corsur is freeze)

whan i open the progrem, i get the next msg:

(gedit:1955): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library.
        Using the fallback 'C' locale.

mmm.... what is the right Env var that nedded?

Regards
Barak
