I just installed AbiWord (on windows, though, so it may be different on Linux). It seems to make some basic mistakes (like not putting a period or comma at the right place on the end of the line), but is relatively usable (you can trick it into placing it at the right place).
Is there BiDi support for OpenOffice on windows? I couldn't find any... Alexander Maryanovsky.
