Without saying anything about this specific party, I want to point out the difference between what a political party *promises* and what it actually *delivers*. In the world of politics, these things are as far from each other as east from west. (See also my signature below). So hearing yet another promise is not necessarily the best thing that has happened for open source in 8 years. Two politicians from two different parties, and a bunch of people from this list, already did quite a lot in the last year for this cause. That being said, it is interesting to see that a political party found it worthwhile to mention free software on their official platform. Makes me happy that free software might be getting enough influence, enough for political parties to figure that this will get them votes. -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] |----------------------------------------- Phone: +972-53-245868, ICQ 13349191 |Promises are like babies: fun to make, http://nadav.harel.org.il |but hell to deliver. ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
