It hasn't been merged in the official, maintained-by-marcello 2.4 kernel tree. It obviously has been merged in the specific kernel tree you were trying to install. > Muli> I see that you were compiling 2.4.18-19.8.0. Who does it need to go to ? Is there a fixed format? Since this is redhat specific, you probably want bugzilla.redhat.com. Since it's a miscompiling kernel, they would probably want (in order to reproduce) - the exact kernel version - the .config you used - the exact order of operations you did (...; make bzImage; make modules; ...) - what went wrong and in general, anything else an objective bystander would need in order to reproduce. -- Muli Ben-Yehuda "The speed of light really is too slow nowdays." -- Alan Cox ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
