I thought this might interest the list. I created a Word document at work. Since I wanted to be able to read it at home, I saved as RTF. The document was created by pasting from the Palm Pilot desktop on Windows to MS Word. I guess that because of incompatibilities between the two programs, I got lines like the following:
)X) this is a test (123( So far, this is a Windows problem. But the amazing thing is that when I opened the document with Kword at home, the line looked like it should have in the frst place: (X) this is a test (123) So, in effect, Kword did a better job of displaying the document even though it was written on MS Word :-) -- Shlomo Solomon http://come.to/shlomo.solomon Sent by KMail (KDE 3.0.3) on LINUX Mandrake 9.0 ================================================================To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
