Well, your approach is very costly ;)

Allow me to suggest something else..

Take the CrossOver office. Install it 4 times (one in ~/crossover, the 2nd in
~/crossover2, the 3rd in ~/crossover3 etc). Run the officesetup from each of
them (~/crossover/bin/officesetup) and install your version of explorer that
you want  (4, 5.0, 5.5, 6, 6SP1).

Now - when you want to run, for example the IE5, which is installed on
~/crossover2, then simply run: ~/crossover2/bin/iexplore - etc.. I think you
get the idea ;)

That way, you only have to pay once for Crossover (use the trial version to
test if it's working for you). I have tested it (with IE 5, 5.5 and 6SP1), and
it works pretty well, although a bit slow (crappy GDI engine)..
