Currently I read it on Outlook at work (tried to forward back to home
but things got weared).

I'd vote for (2), though I like the linux.org.il domain better.

So people (I think including myself, not even sure where I'm subscribed
through) will have to update their address book once, not such a big
hassle.

This spaghetti should better be stopped before it gets worse.
