Are you behind a NAT? (i.e. are you trying to FTP from the firewall, or from a machine behind it?) If you are, don't forget to load the relevant FTP connection modules.Has anybody here suffered from problems with passive FTP? Particularly, Actcom ADSL clients?
If, however, your policy is outbound-limited in any way, the problem may have to do with a stateful firewall not understanding FTP.
